Terms of service

Working Together

  • Brand Practice Creative provides newsletters, copywriting, visual communication, and related creative support.

  • All work is collaborative, based on mutual trust, clarity, and respect.

  • Projects and retainers begin once scope, timelines, and payment are confirmed.

  • Brand Practice Creative reserves the right to pause work if clients do not meet the terms outlined in this agreement.

Retainers

  • Retainers operate on a monthly basis with a 3-month minimum commitment, unless otherwise agreed.

  • Each retainer includes a defined scope of work per month. Additional requests outside the scope will be discussed and approved before work begins.

  • Clients provide briefs, feedback, and approvals for each piece of work. Timelines depend on timely responses and approvals.

  • After the initial 3 months, retainers continue month-to-month unless paused or adjusted with notice.

Payment

  • All fees are invoiced monthly and are due upon receipt unless otherwise stated.

  • Work may be paused if payment is overdue.

  • Payments are non-refundable once work for the month has begun.

Revisions & Approvals

  • One (two for website builds) revision is included within the agreed scope.

  • Revisions are intended to refine, not rework, approved direction.

  • Final approval from the client confirms acceptance of the work as delivered.

Timelines, Availability & Service Priority

  • Timelines are discussed in advance and depend on scope, responsiveness, and workload.

  • Brand Practice Creative is not responsible for delays caused by late feedback, missing materials, or external factors.

  • Work from higher-tier retainers may be prioritized to ensure timely delivery. All clients receive professional support according to their agreed scope and schedule.

Intellectual Property

  • Upon full payment, clients receive full rights to the final approved deliverables.

  • Brand Practice Creative retains the right to display completed work in portfolios, on the website, or in promotional materials unless otherwise requested in writing.

Confidentiality

  • All client information, materials, and communications are treated as confidential.

  • Information will not be shared without permission, except where disclosure is required by law.

Cancellations & Pausing

  • Clients may pause or end retainers with 14 days’ written notice before the next billing cycle.

  • Any work completed up to the cancellation date will be invoiced accordingly.

Communication

  • Email is the primary form of communication unless otherwise agreed.

  • Clear briefs, consolidated feedback, and timely responses help ensure the best possible outcome.

Changes to These Terms

  • These terms may be updated occasionally to reflect changes in services or business operations.

  • The most current version will always be available on this site.
